The Votivkirche

The most iconic church in Vienna, Votive Church (or Votivekirche), with streamlined NeoGothic architecture, is reaching up to the sky with two ornate needle towers. Church interior just as beautiful as exterior: detailed altar, stained glass windows, and paintings. While design was inspired by French gothic architecture, it does have it's own amazing design and style.

The church Votivkirche is one of the most amazing neogothic landmarks in Vienna. It was built as a token of gratitude for a failed attempt to assassinate Emperor Franz Joseph.
